This is what I recall most fondly about Sanibel Island early morning walks through one of the many preserved areas, the air slightly cool, the sun already warm and dappling the path through the leaves and palm fronds of the native vegetation. Here a couple and their dog pause in a distant patch of sun to savor the peace and beauty of that idyllic place. This painting was accepted into the 2002 juried TriCounty Exhibition of the Broward Art Guild and the Fine Arts Juried Exhibition at the Schacknow Museum of Fine Arts in Plantation, FL.
