When day dawns over the ocean, it's like an awakening of the sun. The oranges and yellows from the emerging light blend with the blue of the sky to provide a brilliant backdrop that casts the shoreline foliage into a stark blue–black silhouette. To me, dawn over the ocean is even more beautiful than a sunset because of all the promise it offers for the day ahead.
