Frederic Bartlett, the designer and owner of Fort Lauderdale's Bonnet House, built this decorative dry fountain out of stone debris from a razed Palm Beach mansion. Then he planted graceful palms along an allee leading to it. This stone fountain is the scene of many a Fort Lauderdale wedding. Though usually viewed looking down the center of the allee, I found this angled view through the graceful Malayan palms especially inviting.
