Just north of one of Wellfleet's popular ocean beaches, the top of this house peeks out above the dunes. I've walked by it for years, and every time I pass, I want to hike up that sandy path to take a closer look. However, not wanting to invade the owner's privacy, I've settled instead for what is perhaps a more mysterious view of its simple beauty. I found it especially appealing on this bright summer day that had framed it with an umbrella of high, puffy clouds.
