Some of the highest, most picturesque dunes on Cape Cod are along the great Atlantic beach in Truro. These dunes, representative of the landscape between Ballston and Long Nook beaches, are some of the most breathtaking. In this morning scene, the brightness of the sun-reflecting sand contrasts dramatically with the blues and purples of the low-tide surf.
