Wellfleet's Indian Neck Beach is a wonderful place to see a sunset - especially with a picnic supper and a bottle of wine. The view across the harbor toward the National Seashore's Great Island is stunning as the sun sinks closer to the dunes and the ten-foot tide starts creeping almost stealthily back up the beach. I titled the painting "Sunrise, Sunset" because, except for the actual location, this scene could just as easily be at the opposite end of the day.
