Well, it's not Mooney's anymore, though people still call it that. Now home to an art gallery and other small businesses, this old red building has been many things over the years including - originally - a factory manufacturing men's pants. It sits at the edge of Duck Creek, a tidal estuary that flows right into the heart of Wellfleet village, so it's not unusual to see small boats tucked in among the marsh grasses. In the day of the pants factory two centuries ago, tall ships would have been moored here.
