Looking south from Truro's Bearberry Hill across moor, cliff and dune toward Ballston Beach, an over-wash of beach sand - which has eroded the dunes and threatened the beach houses with the passing of each winter's inevitable nor'easter - provides a rather dramatic bright spot in the center of this treasured view, a scene which we see often on our hikes to and from Truro's Long Nook beach further north.
